Diamondthrills adorns ‘Women of the Future’ with fine diamond jewellery

London 16th November 2009 – Diamondthrills announces that it adorned three of the nominees for the 2009 ‘Women of the Future’ awards with its fine diamond jewellery.

The Women of the Future Awards, sponsored by Shell, were created to unearth and recognize the stars of tomorrow across diverse industries and to celebrate high achieving women under 35, all inspirational within their professions.

At a glittering ceremony at the Marriott Hotel in London’s Grosvenor Square, attended by such luminaries as David Cameron, Cherie Blair, Tessa Jowell, novelist Salman Rushdie and actress Anna Chancellor, three of the nominees wore diamond jewellery from diamondthrills and two succeeded in winning the award in their category.

Melissa Geiger, partner in KPMG’s tax practice and nominated for The Professions Woman of the Future Award, chose to wear the Flora daisy-chain necklace.

Sam Smith, Managing Director of FinnCap and winner of the Business Woman of the Future Award, chose to wear the Lakshmi peardrop hoop diamond earrings (fast becoming one of diamondthrills’ most popular items).

Sam said afterwards, “I love my earrings! I think I want them!”

Holly Tucker, co-founder and Managing Director of notonthehighstreet.com and winner of the Entrepreneurial Woman of the Future Award, liked the diamondthrills jewellery so much that she picked out three pieces. Holly borrowed the Venus zigzag necklace, the Artemis Star earrings, and the Isis helix bracelet.

Jamie Mordaunt, Managing Director of Diamondthrills, said, “ We approached some of the nominees for this year’s Women of the Future Awards because these awards celebrate the achievement of women across society, and we believe that wearing beautiful diamond jewellery is a great way for women to celebrate their achievements. The idea of pairing brilliant diamonds with brilliant women on such an occasion was too just good to miss!”

Hiring fine diamond jewellery is the exciting new way to dazzle with diamonds at a party or special event, and is especially relevant to brides who want to be adorned with genuine diamonds on their wedding day.

Diamondthrills introduces an affordable new way for people to enjoy diamonds by making available a range of exquisite diamond earrings, pendants, necklaces, bangles, bracelets and tiaras, all available for hire at prices that start at £50 per week, giving women the breadth and pay-as-you-go flexibility of a virtual jewellery box.

In addition to the thrill of being adorned by fabulous diamonds, customers of diamondthrills also have the peace of mind of knowing that loaned jewellery is insured whilst in their possession and delivery to & from the customer is secure and free.

For years, starlets on Hollywood’s red carpet have enjoyed the fabulous experience of wearing borrowed diamonds. Now diamondthrills can bring a touch of Hollywood glamour and that millionaire feeling to women throughout the UK at a fraction of the cost of ownership.
