Jamie Mordaunt is the founder and Managing Director of Diamondthrills.
Jamie trained as a Mechanical Design Engineer and went on to spend thirteen years from 1996 to 2009 working for De Beers.
His career at De Beers included plenty of hands-on experience working with diamonds, both rough and cut/polished, and featured various assignments around the world including time spent cutting diamonds in Africa, the Far East, & Middle East, India and Europe with some of the world’s leading diamantaires.
During his time at De Beers, Jamie was responsible for selling rough diamonds to many of the world’s foremost diamond companies from countries as diverse as India, Belgium, Israel, and China.
He also led the strategic development and managed the original launch of the De Beers Group’s diamond brand, ‘Forevermark’, in Hong Kong, China, Japan and India.

Jamie is in his early 40s and lives in central London with his wife Fiona and baby daughter Ella.
Jamie is adept in the world of social media and you can follow him on Twitter or view his profile on LinkedIn.
