Today’s Sunday Times newspaper reveals that the best company to work for in the UK is a jeweller.  Beaverbrooks claimed the top spot in the prestigious annual survey.

Far from smarting at the visible success of a competitor, we’re thrilled for Beaverbrooks.  The jewellery trade is not always known for its progressiveness, and that’s what makes Beaverbrooks’ success somewhat surprising and all the more welcome.  We’re more used to seeing web design companies and consultancies winning awards such as this, and it’s great that a 90-year old jewellery retail business has beaten off all UK competition.

Working with a product that can bring so much delight to people should be a pleasure, but this is too often forgotten by those who work in the diamond and jewellery business.

We certainly enjoy our work here at diamondthrills, and we hope that in time we can offer people a great place to work, perhaps even as great as Beaverbrooks.
