Jennifer Lopez walks away with loaned diamonds
Jamie Mordaunt
At diamondthrills we know that lending out diamond jewellery has its risks, and once in a while something happens to remind us of those risks.

Jennifer Lopez
Step forward Jennifer Lopez, who has walked away with the bling loaned to her by upmarket jeweller Robert Mouawad.
The New York Post reports that Jennifer was loaned the diamonds by Mouawad for the launch of Andrea Lieberman’s fashion line, ALC, at Barneys in Beverly Hills last week.
The diamonds are reported to be worth $50,000, and whilst other celebrities returned their gems to the Swiss jeweller after the event, Jennifer liked them so much that she apparently decided to take them home.
After the event, her manager called Mouawad’s people to let them know that she was going to keep the jewels. But both sides seem to have patched things up and are making the most of the publicity.
An insider told the New York Post that, “Mr. Mouawad is the Swiss billionaire who purchased the 60-carat flawless Mondera Diamond for $50 million. He will lose no sleep over $50,000, and frankly, Jennifer’s endorsement is priceless.”
